Euro Trans Air was founded in 1994, it commenced operations later that year. Known for short as ETA, this low cost carrier was created to carry passengers for a low price to several favorite European destinations. It does this by using cities alternative airports (if they have any) where the landing fees are lower(much like Allegiant). This also increases customer satisfaction since there is much less traffic. They also include all economy comfort class only for even more customer satisfaction, yet with bigger seat numbers. Anyway Euro Trans started off with 20 757-200s and 10 fokker 100s. In 2005 10 Embraer 170s and 10 175s entered the fleet along with 8 767-200ER's leased from Air New Zealand. Today Air New Zealand operates a fleet of 103. They have added 15 Q400s as regional coverage has grown tremendously. They also have 10 Airbus A350's that will replace the 767's. Its mainline routes are mainly trans European and Trans Atlantic. It also nhas regional coverage throughout Europe and in the Northeast via Teterboro (New York) and Boston. They also are a long time partner with LibertyJet. Its largest hub is at London city airport where it is also headquatered. Remember though this airline is fictional.
